Program Rules
Straight talk on how it works
Commission triggers after K2 delivers the project and the work is complete - not on quote or verbal agreement.
Paid via e-Transfer after project completion. No invoice needed from you.
Commission is one-time per referred project, whether it is a regular project or a monthly retainer.
Your referral is valid for 60 days from introduction. No pressure to rush.
No limit on referrals. Refer as many businesses as you like, any time.
K2 takes one client per industry per region. We confirm availability before you refer.
Do not make pricing promises on K2's behalf. All pricing is confirmed directly by our team.
Frequently Asked QUESTIONS
Rates are discussed directly with our team once you apply, because they vary by service category and project size. Web and video projects, retainers, and packages each have their own bracket. Whatever rate is agreed before the referral applies for the life of that project - no surprises.
A project is delivered when K2 has handed off the final work and the client has paid in full. For retainers, the first invoice paid by the client triggers the commission. Quote sent or verbal agreement do not count - everything must be completed and paid.
If the project is cancelled before delivery, no commission applies. If they pause and resume within 60 days, the referral stays attached to you. If they come back later for a different project, we will tell you upfront whether the new work still qualifies.
Self-referrals are not eligible for commission. The program is for introducing other businesses to K2. If you are an existing K2 client, you can still refer others and earn on those projects.
You'll get an automatic confirmation email when the referral is submitted, and our team will message you once a consultation is booked or the project is scoped. You don't need to chase - communication is handled directly.
60 days from the date of introduction. If the client signs within that window, you earn commission on the project. If they come back later, we will let you know whether the referral still applies.
